Tracy DeFatta is the owner, CEO, & CFO of Bookkeeping Unlimited. She educates small business owners on their financial situations so they can meet their personal and professional goals. She also helps connect her bookkeeping and coaching clients with resources and other businesses that can help them succeed.

Bookkeeping Unlimited began in 2000. The company started with five clients and has grown steadily ever since. Today, she helps at least 70 clients on a regular basis and has support staff helping her in this endeavor. 

Because of her leadership, her team of support staff is able to fulfill the company’s mission of providing clients with unmatched customer service, unparalleled bookkeeping experience, and unlimited business insights proven to turbocharge their success. After more than 38 years in bookkeeping, Tracy still finds her work interesting because each client is unique. 

The results of her efforts inspired her to help small business owners go beyond understanding their financials. She also coaches business owners on how to set and  achieve their own professional and personal financial goals. This executive coaching program is a way for Tracy to share the knowledge and experience she’s earned in her decades helping small businesses grow and succeed. 

While building a successful business, Tracy raised two beautiful daughters who have each earned their own long lists of accolades and accomplishments. Originally from East Texas, Tracy moved to Houston in 1991 with her growing family. She and her husband have been married for 34 years and enjoy cheering on his favorite team, the LSU Tigers, or going to Astros and Rockets games. 

Tracy is always willing and ready to help people in need. And, after living in Houston for so long, one thing sticks out to Tracy: Houstonians always pull together in a crisis to help each other. That’s one reason she’s built her business to be virtual, and why she and her team help other businesses find and implement the tools, technology, and processes they need to be able to not miss a beat no matter what is happening – whether it’s a pandemic, hurricane, flood, or other crisis.
